NOTE: You can fundraise over the first feature segment if you cover the tease.
This clock offers flexibility for those who want longer breaks in the broadcast and those who want two, shorter breaks. Remember to air the national fundraising credits live, on tape, or read from the daily DACS. Program rundowns and timings will be sent daily, giving you hard posts to plan your breaks.
If you are not fundraising, the only discernible difference is that the program is not forward promoting stories, otherwise the daily editions include all regular program segments and features listeners expect.
If you are fundraising, remember not to cut the opening newscast, or the numbers. Our research is very clear on this point: these are must-haves to your core audience.
Below is a sample clock. Check daily DACS messages for final rundown times and stories. These messages will also help you forward promote during your pitch segments. The hard cutaways/returns are fixed throughout the week 14:30 and 23:00!
