Host/Producer Bio: John Birge's friendly voice and quick wit keep classical music lovers company on Minnesota Public Radio's morning drive. Before coming to American Public Media, John spent fifteen years on the radio in Cincinnati. There he also enjoyed moonlighting as a free-lance French horn player, performing regularly as an extra player with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Birge is also host and producer of Giving Thanks, a Thanksgiving holida special.
