Broadcast Rights:
A Prairie Home Companion is available on a market-exclusive basis only (within the originating station's 60dBu contour). Exclusivity does not apply to repeater stations of a network. For details, please contact your Station Representative. American Public Media partner stations must carry all programs in the series on the same day as the feed: live in Eastern and Central time zones; in all other time zones, if not carried live, the program must be broadcast with a start time no later than 6:00 p.m. local time. Repeat broadcasts must conclude prior to the feed time of the next Saturday broadcast. The program must be carried in its entirety, except in the case of fundraising weeks where the station has chosen not to preempt the program for fundraising purposes. On these weeks — a maximum of four per year — the stations may break into the program for pitching and delete a portion of the program, not to exceed 48 minutes total, for fundraising breaks.

Stations may use the fundraiser in place of the regular broadcast a maximum of four times within one year of the feed. Simulcast streaming rights are available for this series. See terms and conditions described in the American Public Media Service Agreement (PDF). Prior to carrying this series, stations must confirm carriage (PDF) with American Public Media.
